    Lost 2 More…

    I lost two pounds this week.  After gaining one last week, I was very excited to step on the scale and very happy with my results.

    I am right on track at losing at least 1 lb per week.

    Fat Bastard did great too.  Even on a business trip, he was able to lose 3 lbs.

    Very Happy.

    Up Not Down

    Well, I gained 1 pound this week…..

    I can’t really be surprised.  I ate Pizza Rolls and Zucchini Bread.  I did not think I was eating too badly, but when I stepped on the scale, it showed.  So, now it is back to Kashi cereal, and turkey meat.  I need to be better about “cheating” with foods that I love.  It is too easy to just say, “no problem, it is only 1 meal”.  That is all it takes to get off track.

    This week will be better, I am hoping to get back to 136.5 or better!

    Another One Bites The Dust

    Another pound lighter…..

    That’s right, I lost another pound!  I have been eating really well, and exercising a little more than last week.  I really need to pick up the number of times I exercise per week.  I am also starting to lift weights.  They are only 5lb and 8lb weights, so they are light, but a good amount to start with.  I am also walking on the treadmill for a minimum of 20 minutes. 

    I am still eating turkey with mustard for lunch, kashi cereal for breakfast and something light for dinner.  I have also discovered Weight Watchers Ice Cream.  It is only 2 or 3 points and tastes really good.

    I have lost a total of 4lbs in 4 weeks, and I hope I can keep it going.

    2 More Pounds Gone

    Yes, I lost 2 more pounds this past week.

    I am tracking at losing 1 pound per week, which I am very happy with.  Still eating healthy, exercising and taking my supplements.  Fat Bastard also lost weight, even being a business trip.  We are happy campers.

    42nd Birthday

    Well, today is my Birthday and so far so good!  I ate Kashi cereal, and had a turkey wrap for lunch.  I would love to gobble up all the food I have been missing, but tomorrow is weigh in day and I really want to do better than last week.

    Not much exercise this week, haven’t been feeling well so I have been taking it easy. 

    I spent much of the week eating really well so I hope tomorrow brings at least a 1lb weight loss.  Week to week the weight loss is slow, but over the course of a year, I hope to do what I set out to do.

    Just Another Wednesday

    Today is Wednesday and I feel pretty good about my diet.  I am eating much more fruit than I ever have and I feel really good.  I am also eating turkey meat for lunch, with a little mustard.  I just can’t eat it plain, YUK!  For breakfast I am having Kashi cereal and since Fat Bastard is out of town, I am eating cereal for dinner, it is quick and easy.

    I haven’t been feeling that good, so I haven’t exercised in a few days, hopefully tomorrow I will get back to it.

    Other than that, it is just another Wednesday.

    Weigh In Day

    Well, I stayed the same as last week, UGH!

    I really thought I did well, but I stayed the same.  I ate pretty good and exercised, but I guess I need to do more.  It is frustrating when you hope for even a one pound weight loss and then it doesn’t happen.  Hopefully the weather will be good this week and I will be able to get out and walk.

    Just Another Day

    Hello,

    Well, it is just another day.  The diet is going ok.  Went out for dinner last night and had a shrimp salad.  The only fattening thing was the salad dressing.  Today I was more hungry than yesterday.  I am learning what foods keep me full longer.  Eggs and turkey bacon seems to be the best thing for breakfast, but I get so sick of eggs.  I will need to find something else.  For lunch, I had a weight watchers frozen lunch and dinner, I had the stew I made the other night.  I have also discovered the weight watchers ice cream.  Just two points each, and it tastes like regular ice cream, but with less fat and sugar and calories.

    I started the day with a 30 minute walk.  It always feels good to get up and get exercising.

    Today Was A Good Day

    Well, today was a good diet day.  I started the day with a 30 minute walk outside.  It is not humid yet, so walking outside is still an option (I hate humidity)!  Had Kashi cereal for breakfast, a banana and some blackberries as a snack, had another bowl of cereal for lunch, I needed something quick so I could get back to work and beef stew for dinner.  I drank my water and was not too hungry all day. 

    I treated myself to 1/2 can of Coke.  I love something sweet in the afternoon, and instead of drinking the whole can, I stopped myself at 1/2 a can.

    I am really trying to watch what I eat because fat bastard and I are taking neighbors out to dinner on Saturday night.  They are watching what they eat also, so hopefully dinner out won’t be too many calories.

    The Scale Will Tell

    Well, today is Sunday and it is weigh in day!  I am hoping for a 1 / 2 lb loss.  So, how did I do…….

    YEA!!!!!  I lost 1 whole pound!  I am happy.  Fat Bastard lost 3lbs, which makes me happy too. 

    Although 1 pound doesn’t sound like much, I am convinced that slow and steady is the way to go.  I didn’t gain the weight overnight, and won’t lose it that way either.  I tried Weight Watchers a few years ago and did quite well, so this time I am using what I learned to assist me again. 

    In addition to eating better, Fat Bastard and I are walking, most every day.  Yesterday we walked for almost an hour, and today it is raining, so I walked on my treadmill.  Not as much fun as walking in the fresh air, but it gets me moving.  I also did sit ups, and lifted my 8lb weights.

    Being Healthy Thought Of The Day:  EAT FRUIT
